Computer LabWalsingham technology provides students opportunities and resources for learning. The computer lab has 30 Dell desktops.
In addition, we have a cart of Mac laptops for 4th grade classes and a cart of Dell Notebooks for 5th grade classes.
Kindles were purchased with Referendum funds in 2011-2012, a class set of 23 for students and one for the teacher.
Pre-School and ESE students have access to 20 iPads provided by the ESE Department.
Fast ForWord LabWalsingham technology also provides a computer lab run specifically for a reading improvement program called Fast ForWord. There are 24 Dell Computers which are used throughout K-5th to help further reading levels while being able to enjoy the use of technology. This program is available to all students for use at home, if you would like more information please contact Matthew Rooney, rooneym@pcsb.org, and he will be happy to help.
Welcome to WWESWWES is Walsingham's Morning Show. Fifth grade students operate the equipment and present the morning news under the supervision of Mrs. Lynch, Media/Technology Specialist
Reading CountsReading Counts Web site
Reading Counts! is a recreational reading program used by grades 1-5. Students read selected books and take comprehension quizzes on the computer. Students are rewarded every grading period for their accomplishments.
